WHAT: As part of the 57th annual Operation Clean Stream, volunteers will clean up the Meramec River section from the Allentown access to Route 66 State Park. Volunteers will meet at Route 66 State Park, be shuttled to the Allentown Access and float back to Route 66 SP. Volunteers are expected to assist in loading and unloading boats! There will be a limited amount of boats available meaning volunteers must register via this link. Walk-ups will not be guaranteed a boat. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt for participating in Operation Clean Stream!
WHEN: 8:00 am, Saturday, August 24th
WHERE: Route 66 State Park, 97 N Outer Rd, Eureka, MO 63025 - see map for exact location.
WHAT TO WEAR:
- Dress for the weather
- Wear clothes that can get dirty
- Closed-toe, sturdy shoes
- Hat & sunscreen
WHAT TO BRING:
- A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
- Bug spray
- A Boat(s)
