WHAT: Join us at The River Des Peres Trash Bash to remove trash from the parks and areas surrounding the River Des Peres Watershed. This is a land-based cleanup. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt for participating in The Trash Bash!
WHEN: 8:45 am, Saturday, October 26th. Volunteer check-in will begin at 8:30am.
WHERE: The Mississippi Riverfront @ River City Casino rear parking lot. see map for exact location.
Follow River City Casino Blvd main drive past the casino to the rear parking lot.
There is a difficult, short hill to the river shore that is rocky and slippery with mud and sandy areas. Trash grabbers may be helpful here. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes/boots are a must.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Dress for the weather
Wear clothes that can get dirty
Closed-toe, sturdy shoes or boots
Hat & sunscreen
WHAT TO BRING:
A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
Bug spray
Trash grabbers may be helpful at this site
REGISTRATION NOTES:

This land-based cleanup does not require a canoe/kayak
