WHAT: As part of the 59th annual Operation Clean Stream, volunteers will clean up the Meramec River section from the I-44 Bridge to the Hwy 30 Bridge (3.5 miles). The put in and meeting spot will be at Greentree Park. This is a Bring your own boat event.  Volunteers will receive a t-shirt for participating in Operation Clean Stream!

WHEN: 8:30 am, Saturday, August 22nd, volunteer check-in begins at 8:15 am. 

WHERE: Greentree Park, 2150 Marshall Rd Kirkwood, MO 63122, or exact location here

WHAT TO WEAR:

  • Dress for the weather
  • Wear clothes that can get dirty
  • Closed-toe, sturdy shoes
  • Hat & sunscreen

WHAT TO BRING: 

  • A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
  • Bug spray

 REGISTRATION NOTES

  • The annual OS-STL liability waiver must be signed and approved before a volunteer can register for this cleanup opportunity. To see if you have met this qualification, please view your profile here

ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE INVITED to a post-cleanup celebratory picnic at Simpson Lake Park! Enjoy hot dogs, drinks, comradery, and our youth event, Passport to Clean Water!
