WHAT: As part of the 59th annual Operation Clean Stream, volunteers will clean trash along the upper section of Kiefer Creek in Castlewood State Park. Volunteers will meet at the lot near Kiefer Creek, then enter the creek for the cleanup. Most litter will be along the sides of the creek on land, but volunteers are encouraged to cool off in the creek at any time!
For anyone looking for an extra challenge, bring a shovel to help dig out some submerged trash in the creek!
Volunteers may be asked to help move trash down the street and into the Castlewood near the Castlewood boat ramp.
WHEN: 9:00am, Saturday, August 22nd. Volunteer check-in will begin at 8:45am.
WHERE: Meet at the picnic area @ Castlewood State Park, 1401 Kiefer Creek Rd, Ballwin, MO 63021. Parking area here

WHAT TO WEAR:
- Dress for the weather
- Wear clothes that can get dirty
- Closed-toe, sturdy shoes
- Hat & sunscreen
WHAT TO BRING:
- A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
- Bug spray
