SITE GRADE B/C - Heavy trash, heavy brush, steep slopes, complete mobility is needed. This site is recommended for ages 14+
WHAT: Volunteers will focus on cleaning up areas around Parker Rd at the 367 exchange, in the area behind Walgreens, Quik Trip, and Club Car Wash. Exact location here. This site is often heavily littered and needs help from our trash cleanup community to keep it clean!
After the clean up, please join us at The Audubon Center at Riverlands for the Watershed Picnic and Festival and Passport to Clean Water educational event from 11am - 2pm to celebrate our efforts and hard work! The festival will be hosted by Open Space STL, The Audubon Center at Riverlands, and The Army Corps of Engineers, and will feature free food, drinks, and activities for the whole family!
We'll also have a trash contest for all clean up participants. Did you find the biggest trash? The weirdest trash? The most bottles of Fireball? Bring them to the picnic for bragging rights... and prizes.
WHEN: 9-11am, Saturday, April 11th. Volunteer check-in will begin around 8:45am.
WHERE: Parker Road @ 367, park behind the Walgreens at 12098 Lusher Rd, St. Louis, MO 63138 - see map for exact location.
