WHAT: Volunteers will be cleaning up litter around Webster Groves including Deer Creek and Shady Creek. We will be meeting at Lorraine Davis Park Pavilion at 8:30 a.m. (parking at 137 E. Waymire Ave.). The work session ends at 11 a.m.
This opportunity is coordinated by the City of Webster Groves for Make a Difference Day. Volunteers will need to sign up via the Webster Groves volunteer page linked here (scroll down for Trash Bash). WHEN: 8:00am, Saturday, October 28th. Volunteer check-in will begin at 7:45 AM.

Volunteers will receive instructions and supplies, split into groups, and travel to locations along Deer Creek and Shady Creek. Additional information can be found on Webster Groves website linked here.
WHAT TO WEAR:
- Dress for the weather
- Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty
- Closed-toe shoes or waterproof boots
- Hat & sunscreen
WHAT TO BRING:
- A filled water bottle - we recommend reusable!
- Insect repellant
- Sturdy gloves, if you prefer your own

- Volunteers receive a FREE River des Peres Trash Bash shirt! T-shirts are on a first come, first served basis. Some sizes may not be available for volunteers.
WATERSHED FESTIVAL
ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE INVITED to a post-cleanup celebratory picnic at Deer Creek Park! Enjoy food, drinks, comradery, and our youth event, Passport to Clean Water!
We'll also have a trash contest, with prizes for:
Biggest Trash
Weirdest Trash
Most Bottles of Fireball
Bring your trash to the picnic to win! (Trash must be brought to the picnic for us all to admire, unless it is too large to move.)
