Join us for River des Peres Trash Bash on Saturday, October 25th!
River des Peres Trash Bash is a large-scale cleanup of the River des Peres watershed. Volunteers are invited to join us at any available cleanup location throughout the watershed.
We are looking for volunteers and site/trip leaders!
Registration for River des Peres Trash Bash will be available beginning on September 22nd.

Passport to Clean Water and River des Peres Watershed Coalition Picnic at Deer Creek Park
In 2025, following the cleanup, the River des Peres Trash Bash picnic and Passport to Clean Water event will be held at Deer Creek Park – 3200 N Laclede Station Rd, Maplewood, MO 63143!
Enjoy a free lunch, live music, and our educational event Passport to Clean Water. We'll also have a trash contest with prizes for Biggest Trash, Weirdest Trash, and most bottles of Fireball. Bring your trash to the picnic to win! (Trash must be brought to the picnic for us all to admire, unless it is too large to move.)

Many cleanups begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 11:00 AM, but a few begin earlier or later, so check the details on your specific sites once they become available. Please note the grading scale for site difficulty when choosing the best location for you.
Gloves and trash bags are provided at all sites along with a free t-shirt to those who pre-register.
