Site Grade:
Greenway/sidewalks: A/B - Suitable for all ages and some with limited mobility. Some city sections may be more suitable for volunteers over age 9.
River des Peres: C - Heavy trash. Heavy brush. Steep slopes. Full mobility needed. Recommended for ages 16 and up, depending on parental preference
WHAT: Join us at The River Des Peres Trash Bash to remove trash from the parks and areas surrounding the River Des Peres Watershed. Groups will split into multiple places along the Great Rivers Greenway, the city sidewalks, and the River des Peres. This is a land-based cleanup. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt for participating in The Trash Bash!
WHEN: 9:00am, Saturday, October 25th. Volunteer check-in will begin at 8:45am.
WHERE: Meet in the school parking lot on 9101 S. Broadway. see map for exact location.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Dress for the weather
Wear clothes that can get dirty
Closed-toe, sturdy shoes or boots
Hat & sunscreen
WHAT TO BRING:
A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
Bug spray
REGISTRATION NOTES:

This land-based cleanup does not require a canoe/kayak
