WHAT: Join us at Mackenzie Creek inside Lakewood Park Cemetery to remove trash from the areas surrounding the River Des Peres Watershed. This is a land-based cleanup. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt for participating in The Trash Bash!
WHEN: 9:00 am, Saturday, October 25th. Volunteer check-in will begin at 8:45am.
WHERE: Meet in the back of Lakewood Park Cemetery, Exact location here. You will need this map link to get to the meeting location. GPS coordinates are (38.5771671, -90.3242792)
WHAT TO WEAR:
Dress for the weather
Wear clothes that can get dirty
Closed-toe, sturdy shoes or boots
Hat & sunscreen
WHAT TO BRING:
A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
Bug spray
REGISTRATION NOTES:

This land-based cleanup does not require a canoe/kayak
ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE INVITED to a post-cleanup celebratory picnic at Deer Creek Park! Enjoy food, drinks, comradery, and our youth event, Passport to Clean Water!

Bring your trash to the picnic to win! (Trash must be brought to the picnic for us all to admire, unless it is too large to move.)
