Site Grade: A - Flat. Open. Suitable for all ages and some with limited mobility.
WHAT: Join us at The Brentwood Wetland to remove trash from the parks and areas surrounding the River Des Peres Watershed. This is a land-based cleanup. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt for participating in The Trash Bash!
WHEN: 9:00am, Saturday, October 25th. Volunteer check-in will begin at 8:45am.
WHERE: Volunteers can park in the Metro lot at 3000 Brentwood Blvd, 63144, then meet on the cement area between Metro and the wetland, here.
Meet at the star, then we'll go out to clean up the area surrounded in blue!
WHAT TO WEAR:
Dress for the weather
Wear clothes that can get dirty
Closed-toe, sturdy shoes or boots
Hat & sunscreen
WHAT TO BRING:
A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
Bug spray
REGISTRATION NOTES:

This land-based cleanup does not require a canoe/kayak
ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE INVITED to a post-cleanup celebratory picnic at Deer Creek Park! Enjoy food, drinks, comradery, and our youth event, Passport to Clean Water! We'll also have a trash contest, with prizes for Biggest Trash, Weirdest Trash, and most bottles of Fireball. Bring your trash to the picnic to win! (Trash must be brought to the picnic for us all to admire, unless it is too large to move.)
