WHAT: As part of the 58th annual Operation Clean Stream, volunteers will clean up Simpson Lake Park during this water-based cleanup. This opportunity is for those who will bring their own boat (BYOB) to the cleanup. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt for participating in Operation Clean Stream!

WHEN: 8:30 am, Saturday, August 23rd. Volunteer check-in will begin at 8:15am. 

WHERE: Simpson Lake Park, 1234 Marshall Rd, Valley Park, MO 63088 - see map for exact location.

WHAT TO WEAR:

  • Dress for the weather
  • Wear clothes that can get dirty
  • Closed-toe, sturdy shoes
  • Hat & sunscreen

WHAT TO BRING: 

  • A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
  • Bug spray

 REGISTRATION NOTES

  • The annual OS-STL liability waiver must be signed and approved before a volunteer can register for this cleanup opportunity. To see if you have met this qualification, please view your profile here
  • A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under 16
  • Boats are not provided for this water-based cleanup opportunity, volunteers must bring their own

 

ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE INVITED to stay for a post-cleanup celebratory picnic at Simpson Lake Park! Enjoy hot dogs, drinks, comradery, and our youth event, Passport to Clean Water!
