Our young trees need some love! Join the Community Stewardship Alliance for tree maintenance at Mallard Lake. Volunteers will help with clearing out grass and weeds around trees north of the Lakehouse Bar and Grill and, if needed, repairing or reseating the protective fencing around each tree.
WHEN: 8:30am - 12pm Saturday, June 15th
WHERE: Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park, near the Creve Coeur Lakehouse Bar & Grill, 2160 Creve Coeur Mill Rd, St. Louis, MO 63146 - see map for exact location.
WHAT TO WEAR
- Dress for the weather, in clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Closed-toe shoes
- Sunscreen/sunglasses
WHAT TO BRING
- Water bottle
- Tools and gloves will be provided but if you prefer your own, please bring them
- Tick/bug spray
Registration notes:
- The annual Open Space STL liability waiver must be signed and approved before a volunteer can register for this cleanup opportunity. To see if you have met this qualification, please view your profile here.
- Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ups are welcome
- Children under 13 may volunteer only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
