Join us in Benton Park the morning of Sunday, October 11th, to give our two native garden beds some weeding, mulching and watering. We will also weed and mulch around the young trees we planted in the spring.
We have two native gardens in the park; one is located at the corner of Jefferson and Arsenal, and the second is at Missouri and Arsenal.
WHERE: We will meet here, and the intersection of Missouri and Arsenal. There is plenty of street parking along Arsenal, but please be mindful not to park in bus zones, especially the one directly in front of the garden.
WHEN: Sunday, October 11th, 2026 from 9:30am-11:30pm. Volunteer check-in will begin at 9:15am.
WHAT TO BRING:
- A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
- Tools will be provided, feel free to bring your own gloves if you have a pair you like, and your own hand trowel if you have one.
- Sunscreen
Registration notes:
- Pre-registration is encouraged in case of event rescheduling or cancellation
- This volunteer opportunity is open to individuals 18 and older, who are welcome to bring children with them if supervised. Only register the adult volunteer.
