WHAT: Take a moment out of your busy schedule and join Community Stewardship Alliance for a morning of nature art and journaling at Sylvan Springs! Participants will be provided with MDC journals and pencils courtesy of Missouri Dept. of Conservation. We will do nature art, such as pounding leaves to make imprints, poetry, sketching, and more. Bring your creative side!
This event will be hosted by Master Naturalists Besa Schweitzer, Erin Goss, and Bob Ochs.
WHERE: Jefferson Barracks Park, Sylvan Springs Beverage Garden and Amphitheater. Exact location here. Parking is available here.
WHEN: 12pm-2pm, Saturday, May 16th.
WHAT TO WEAR:
- Dress for the weather!
WHAT TO BRING
- Your lunch or snack
- A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
- Your favorite pen or pencil
- folding chair, seat cushion, or blanket
- Sunscreen or hat
- Bug/tick spray
