WHAT: Friends of Willmore Park will host a honeysuckle hack in Willmore Park on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10am-12pm. Our goal will be to cut down honeysuckle and cut the wintercreeper growing on trees.
WHERE: 7351 Hampton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109. Meet in the North Parking Lot (roundabout), by the North Lake and Dog Park. Exact location here.
Directions: Drive into the park and drive all the way to the north side of it.
WHEN: Saturday, February 21st, 2026 from 10am-12pm.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, we recommend long pants and sleeves, as well as closed toe shoes.
Sturdy shoes or boots
Dress for the weather!
WHAT TO BRING:
A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!
Tools will be provided, but if you prefer your own, you are welcome to bring them
Sunscreen
Bug/tick spray

This volunteer opportunity is open to all ages. Children under 13 may volunteer only if accompanied by a parent or guardian and those 18 or under may not participate in herbicide application.
