WHAT: Castlewood State Park will be hosting a volunteer work day from 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, September 27th, which is National Public Lands Day. The project for the day will be working to reopen the peninsula section of the River Scene trail, which has been closed since experiencing major flood damage this previous year. We anticipate needing help from approximately 15 people. If able to attend, please email us back at castlewoodstatepark@dnr.mo.gov to sign up. Staff will email back later in the week with a specific meeting location and any other pertinent information. Emailing the park is enough - you do not need to sign up on the Open Space website. Thanks for the consideration - we look forward to seeing you on the 27th!
