Join the Lower Meramec Ambassadors on a Frog Walk at Lower Meramec Park, led by Dave Tylka, former MDC biologist and ecology expert on Thursday, April 10 from 7pm-9pm.
Learn about early spring frogs in a unique swamp woodland habitat in this easy, family-friendly walk through one of our favorite natural areas. Learn to identify certain frog calls and see if you can find any frogs as we walk!
How to come prepared: This event will be outdoors during the evening (when the frogs call) rain or shine. (Rain is actually better for finding frogs!) Please dress appropriately for weather conditions and wear comfortable walking shoes or rainboots as some areas may be soggy. Flashlights or headlamps are highly recommended.
UPDATE!!! Parking Location: We need to move the parking/meeting location to Kennedy Recreation Complex. This is on east side of Wells Rd before the road closure due to flooding and north of the frog walk location.
Kennedy Recreation Complex
6050 Wells Road
St. Louis, MO 63128

Please park in the lower parking lot furthest away from the facility. We will meet in the parking lot and walk across the golf course to the frog walk location.
