Volunteer: Honeysuckle removal at Creve Coeur Soccer Park on December 5th

Vent your frustrations on Asian Bush Honeysuckle and remove it from the landscape

When: Saturday, Dec. 5th, 8:30am-12pm. Volunteer check-in starts at 8:15.

Where: Meet at the edge of Creve Coeur Lake, here. Enter the park by the soccer fields and drive all the way back to the parking lot by the lake. We will be working between the soccer fields and the lake.

WHAT TO WEAR:

Clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, we recommend long pants and sleeves, as well as closed toe shoes.

Sturdy shoes or boots

Dress for the weather!

WHAT TO BRING: 

A filled bottle of water - we recommend reusable!

Tools will be provided, but if you prefer your own, you are welcome to bring them

Sunscreen

Bug/tick spray, and some will be provided

Pre-registration is encouraged in case of event rescheduling or cancellation

Help us maintain and keep these demonstration pollinator gardens beautiful! Join the Community Stewardship Alliance for pollinator garden maintenance at Mallard Lake. There will be varying activities ranging from removing unwanted plants, planting new plants, and general clean-up of the three pollinator gardens.
