WHAT: Volunteers will be cleaning up areas along the levee at River's Edge Park. Trash is spread out at the bottom of both sides of the levee along a 1-mile section.
Afterward, please join us at The Audubon Center at Riverlands for the Watershed Picnic & Festival and Passport to Clean Water educational event from 11am - 2pm to celebrate our efforts and hard work! The festival will be hosted by Open Space STL, The Audubon Center at Riverlands, The Army Corps of Engineers, and Leave No Trace, and will feature free food, drinks, and activities for the whole family!
We'll also have a trash contest for all clean up participants. Did you find the biggest trash? The weirdest trash? The most bottles of Fireball? Bring them to the picnic for bragging rights... and prizes!
WHEN: 9:00am, Saturday, April 12th. Volunteer check-in will begin at 8:45 am.

WHAT TO WEAR:
Dress for the weather
Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty
Sturdy close-toed shoes or waterproof boots
Hat & sunscreen

A filled water bottle - we recommend reusable!
Insect repellant, if preferred
Sturdy gloves, if you prefer your own
