Opportunities From: Open Space STL

Volunteer: Join the Route 66 Restoration Team on January 7th!

Come be part of a dedicated three-year mission to restore the ecology of historic Route 66 State Park! Our primary goal is to eliminate "source" invasive species like Bush Honeysuckle, Callery Pear, and Tree of Heaven, all of which are spread by birds throughout our region. By clearing these areas and planting native trees, we can reclaim this beautiful landscape for native species.

As the song says, "Get your kicks on Route 66" while making a lasting environmental impact!
